WSSC student Blair Schwager is taking the big step into the ever-evolving world of Engineering in the role of a Head Start SBAT Engineering apprentice with the worldly knowledgeable Cameron Ford at CFE Projects who has provided this crucial stepping stone for Blair to embrace his aspirations to build a career in this vital industry. Engineering apprenticeships like this provide hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and professional skills that prepare individuals for various roles in the Engineering sector.

Blair has applied himself to a very high level in his secondary school journey after not being fully engaged with his schooling early on. He has been gallantly supported by the team at On Country Pathways , Koorie Academy of Excellence who have supported him to reach his potential. Their mentoring along with Claire Cartwright , the Careers Team from WSSC has made a big difference in Blair’s self-belief , confidence and his own capacity.
HeadStart SBAT Coordinator Shane said the positivity from local employers regarding Blair’s hands on skills, the maturity with which he carries himself is a great credit to him, all that have supported him. Blair has the drive to be successful in this pursuit with a dedicated family, knowledgeable qualified Cameron & the CFE Projects team , School staff , mentoring from Danny from Apprenticeship Support Australia , Shane Crispin Head Start Coordinator and the expert training team at Wodonga TAFE who will oversee his Certificate 3 Engineering Fabrication.
